Skinning bear for rug?
Anyone know where I could find detailed technique for skinning a bear properly for a rug mount? I'm interested in perhaps doing it myself and would want to do it with claws on and all.

Check out this page Beans. What unit are you hunting ? I am still waiting to draw unit 40, 61 and 62. I have 3 points going into next year. Good luck !

RE: Skinning bear for rug?
Thanks, Guys. Flattop: I've got a cow tag for East 54 for 1st rifle. That's when I'll carry the bear tag. I was in the area last week, and ran across lots of fresh bear sign...not to mention 2 nice 6X6 bulls (hope that's not all I see while holding this cow tag) I've also got a first-ever doe tag for unit 43, second rifle, and have applied for one of those additional cow tags in unit 53 for 3rd rifle. I'm headed up to the east 54 area in about a 1/2 hour to see if things are stirring in there this early evening.
