I have a 1996 s-10 i got for a project truck 2 years ago.
I have finally decided to part with it. Not having the time or money to do what i wanted with it.
The truck had a cracked head when i got it and the tires on the truck are terrible.
I grew up as a mechanic, so I took the head off and inspected the cylinder walls of the block and piston slack. It all looked good. So I purchased a brand new head from Ron Craft Chevrolet for 850.00 and installed it.
The truck runs good after this and i have driven it around the block several timesIt does not smoke. Never got tags or inspection on it because i was still working on this ride.
One day i went to start it and did not hear the fuel pump make the little whine when the key is on. So i think the pump is out.
I can start this truck and let it run using a sprayer long enough to heat up to top temperature and even move it back and forth to show transmission is working and that it doesnt smoke.
The truck has a 4"/6" Professional drop kit installed and the front end needs alignment because of the installed kit. "Spindles/Coils Springs/ 4 Drop Shocks/6" Blocks & Carrier Bearing Spacer.
To raise this truck back to normal you will need
Original "Springs,Spindles,4 Shocks".
I have a brand new set of 18" Wheels in my garage i purchased for the truck $868.00. They have never been on the truck and are still in the factory boxes along with 20 chrome locking lugs for them.
I want $2000 firm for this truck.
