Ok guys heres the deal. I understand that your captain has not checked in your birds. We have to keep up with this and pm's and emails have been sent by your team with no response from your captain. We need this info to keep on top of the contest. As of now Recurver167 is the interm captain until your captain returns. Im not trying to stir up trouble for anyone but we need to keep on top of the scores so no one gets left out. I dont want there to be any hard feelings but we are trying to keep things in order here... Thanks Arrowmaster.

Sorry guys, I went turkeyless this spring. I was busy chasing off treaspassers and had 3 birds strut by my barrel just out of range. Interesting season. There was a highlight that I put Matt / PA on his second bird of the season and his life the last day, Memorial Day. That closed the season out wonderfully.

Thats cool. It's not always putting meat in the freezer that counts.

Me, also birdless.

Had a 20 yard shot at a jake, but the shell in my gun was screwed up. It didnt even make make a loud noise or kick when I shot. All the shot just kinda rolled out of the barrel, so I was pretty disapointed. I actually stalked these birds for about 30 minutes before I shot too. It was fun though, I had a great birdless season.

On a bit of a serious note, I think all the Toms crossed the highway and havent been back. I saw several small jakes and a couple of hens, that was it. Shooting or not, still love gettin outdoors and hopefully in the fall I can take one with the bow!
