Default Traditional Hungarian, Mongolian and Schytian Recurve Bows

Traditional Hungarian Recurve Bow 2005 for sale - U$240.- plus shipment

Description:

Brand new from Hungary.

Draw-weight : 48 lbs / 28 inches (overdraw possible till 32 inches)

General:

The QuadRex bows are our most beautiful products. They all have a nice leather coverage. The end parts of the bow symbolise a stag's-leg, which symbol can be connected to the Hungarian origin mitology, the Legend of theWonder-stag. This bows are made by Family Müller ( Quad Rex like Four Kings, Grandfather, Father, Son, Grandson), four genaration bowyers

Technical facts:

The QuadRex bows are composite bows. They consist of 3 parts: the 2 end-parts, which are made out of wood (normally we use ash, cherry and pear) and the hilt and the reflex-curves, which are made out of fibreglass, which are covered by cow-leather. The string is made out of „dacron”-which is a streatchable plastic, and we use „cevlar” for the string bandage. At the hilt, they have a wooden plate, to make the bow's surface smoother for the arrow.
