This model is equipped with Scan and Zip modes. With this model weather will not be a problem as it also has built-in rain and reflect modes and is waterproof. Maximum Ranges: 930 yards for reflective targets; 800 yards for trees and 450 yards for deer. Laser range finders work best when the object that is being ranged has a high reflectiveness and is 90 degrees to the range finder. A bright colored building will give better results than a dark colored tree.
