As my screen name implies.....I'm a "Traditional" shooter. For some reason I got it in my mind I wanted a compound about three weeks ago. I figured I might as well get a good one....so I bought the new "Truth" bow.
I went to a 3-D shoot todayand it was a disaster.
I simply cannot shoot a compound. I just can't.
My longbow scores almost match what I did today!!!!!
The longbow has now become so ingrained in my mind.....that I cannot break the "shot cycle" from my mind. I was letting go almost as soon as I came to full draw.
So....I'm willing to take a huge hit....just to ease the pain a little.
