Default Adjustable sights (toxonics, sure-loc

I was reading today in the petersons bowhunting mag about one of the new toxonics sights. Im curious where do you guys usually start to put your mark on the side of the bar where it says 10, 20, 30 and so on. I mean for 20 yards where would you put it to sight in for 20 yards. Also it says with one complete turn it will change around 10 yards. Does one turn really move that needle that far up that bar. Im looking at getting one for 3D but not sure where to put it to start sighting it in at. If any of you guys could help me out i would appreciate it. And once you figure out where your 20 yard mark is how much do you move it for your 30 like if your 20 yard mark was on the 35 on the bar. how much would you move the needle to get your 30. Sorry if i confused anyone.

Default See if this helps

Turkey man,

First off figure out where the bow is shooting. Get close to what your shooting at and find where the bow is hitting. then back it out till your at 20 yards. Once you get the 20 yd mark and can hit it for sure with that mark, turn your adjustment half a turn and see if it hit right on at 25. Todays bows shoot very well. If you use the same weighted arrows the adjustment marks should be evenly spaced up and down the sight. With that being said, make sure that you check your arrow weights. IF your shooting off the rack arrows they can differ in their weights and will shoot differently. Find maybe 3 arrows that are close to the same weight say within 5 grains of one another use those three arrows to sight in your bow. You will be shocked at how much difference in weight there will be in a dozen arrows. Best thing is that if you really get into it and enjoy it is build your own arrows and even out the weights so they all are less then 3 grains. Once you get dialed in at 20 the rest should be even marks up and down the scale...If your shooting screw in points..put a little string wax on the threads of the points. it will keep them tight...What ever you do DON"T get frustrated.... it will happen and it will all come together...Also there is a Program that will build a sight tape for you.... Ok well there was a few years ago... called Archers advantage.... check at the local shop they may have heard of it..........

Regards,
