An additional problem with bullets this long in a .30/30 is that the twist rate is 1/12", so stability would be very marginal at the speeds possible from the .30/30 case.....
You are smokin crack!!! My marlin 336 has a 1 in 10" rh twist
surely thats good enough to stabalize a 200 grain bullet for 100 yard or less shots.
