I never have and never will! If I were in a survival situation that'd be different, but even then if I was able to take down a coyote, then I would have been able to get 4-5 rabbits, turkeys, deer, Etc. I'm just saying that they're not the most easily hunted critter!
I hunt and trap coyotes and fox for the pelts. If you talk to some local trappers they might buy it! There are glands on them that trappers use to make lure, and not just the sexual glands! For example there are glands behind the elbows and even the foot pads! If the pelt isn't shot up too bad they'll atleast take it off your hands. In my eyes, that's better than just killing them and leaving them lay. I don't even think other coyotes would readily eat another one! I have heard of fox and bobcat being eaten(by people)!!
