I like the .308. But then again, I reload and enjoy being able to work up a load for whatever situation I want to use my rifle for. Plinking? Cheap 150gr bullets. Hunting, 130-180gr. bullets that are constructed to work for what I am after. By the way, I get a box of 100 bullets (the component) for less than it would cost me to buy a box of 20 already loaded. Of coarse, there is powder and primers and cases needed as well, but those go a long ways for the money.
