110grains of BH209 did well for me with the 250gr shockwave. I jst had a issue with my blackhorn getting damp after 3 days of use in the gun. I had my first misfire in 14 years of ML'er hunting so I stopped using it. It grouped AWESOME for me though. I'm very picky about cleaning my gun and so forth so I just dont want to risk a misfire again on a 150inch buck.
im thinking of trying the new white hot pellets also... but a safe combo that shoots great in the endeavor is a 250grain shockwave and 90-110grains of Triple Seven.. whether you shoot 100grains of the pellets or 90-120 grains of the powder, you will be happy!
