Don't waste your time with Throw & Grow. It's nothing but rye grass. We planted some and nothing has touched it as far as we can tell, while our plots of Whitetail Institute No-Plow (almost as easy to plant) have seen a lot of action. There are other brands out there, too, that will perform better. Also for this time of year, look at Whitetail Institute's "Secret Spot." It is made just for small plots in the woods and is meant for late-summer/fall planting. This is what we've used and it works, but again, there are more choices out there and all of them are probably better than Throw & Grow.
