Default This trip gets more and more expensive..

So we've been tying flies, stocking up on new fly lines, bunches of leaders and all that for our trip to Alaska. Seems like every week I'm spending TOO much money on little things. I've made a couple trips to the fly shop for hooks and fly tying material and never got out of there for under 100 bucks. I figure by the time I'm done I'll have spent just about as much money on toys and clothing and belongings as I do for the guide, air fare and all the shuttling. I was tired of my patched waders. Waders are just not anatomically made right. They're all too big in the feet and too skinny in the belly. LOL I have a foot problem so boots are a pain to get right. Goretex rain suit is old so I need a new one. Need a real fly fishing wading jacket etc etc etc. It never ends. 5 fly rods, 4 reels and all the stuff to go along with it. I mean, I order a couple things here... there and they're always hundreds of dollars. I just hope some damn grizzly doesn't tear my new waders apart with me in them. [&:]
