Default Good day, bream to cats.

Had a good morning yesterday. Caught two dozen hand sized bream, plus 5 crappie. Got them all cleaned and the wife isn't back from her shopping trip yet. So, I tied on some big circle hooks with left over bream heads, and stuck the poles in the side of the truck.

Less than 5 minutes in one lays over soon as I get to it line snaps, the rock pile got me. $&amp*, man I hate that. Tie on another, and not long before I get bit again. Long story short ended up with 6 nice channels farm pond fishing. One small one, one medium 5lber one, and four big ones from 8-12lbs.

Lessons learned. First, I figured out light bass spinning reels are not ideal for monster cats, I pretty sure one of my favorite reels drag got fried. Second I figured out a fish fight that makes your arms tired is some kind of fun!!! Never had sore arms from fishing before.
