Default RE: winchester model 88

I have a 1967 carbine '88 in 308 Win. that I bought many years ago, used. I came with Weaver mounts and the original box. I put it away, and never fired it.
I also bedded one for a friend of mine. It was the rifle in .243. He said it dramatically increased it's accuracy. They were fine rifles, and not worthy of their demise in my opinion.
