Default RE: Shooting 2 3/4 shells from a Mossberg 835

You're right, Retaks, my gun is chambered to shoot3 1/2 slugs from the 24in fully rifled barrel. I am notinterested in shooting the3 1/2 slugs. I'm planning to shootboththe remington copper sabot andthe Hornady sabots to see what works best in my gun. I was leaning towards the 23/4, but I've heardpeople say you shouldn't shoot 2 3/4 slugs from the835, even though its chambered forthem.

I got the Mossberg 835 Turkey/Deer combo, and I love this gun, but its the first 3 1/2 gun I've owned, so I am just trying to wade through theBS and find out ifI should shoot the 2 3/4 sabots orjust go with a 3in.

Iappreciate everyones feedback.
