I'm at least 23 years from retirement. And depending on the state of the economy more likely 43 years lol. So I've gotta deal with that for the foreseeable future!

I'm doing some deer scouting in Iowa right now and seeing quite a few toms out. But I won't hunt them here. Too pricey for NR's.
But did find out I drew an Arizona elk tag yesterday $650 great unit!

opening day
Went out this afternoon just because I couldn't stay home for opening day. No luck, the 4 toms that were standing by the field road when I showed my girlfriend where I'd be hunting yesterday were nowhere to be found. I guess the birds know when March 20th is also!
