Jeff here. Will be hunting northeastern Kansas. I plan on taking two deer. One during the youth season (September 12-20) with my 10 year old and one during the regular season (early December). I could possibly even squeeze in another hunt during an early rifle season in October for the area I hunt in, and, if all else fails, then there's the early January antlerless only season. I don't anticipate hunting then. If I'm going to take a doe, I'll just wait until the last day of the regular season. Around here, you can always get a doe without much of a problem.

It's great to have options isn't it.

That's for sure I'm doing the archery, late muzzy, and a couple of management hunts.

archery - one any sex and a couple of antlerless tags
muzzy - same as above
both management hunts are antlerless only

Don

Checking in. Looks like I need a new avatar. I hunt rifle only in South Carolina. The season for me runs from Oct. 11 to Jan. 1.

We need to pick a captain.

ETA: and a team name. I made a quick avatar. I could put our team name across the bottom. I'm pretty handy with graphics so let me know if y'all want something different.
