Ok...I had to go whack hogs this weekend so did not put anything up. I am from Florida which is the land of deer the size of a collie. I am going to try to get a buck that will earn some points but last year I got my personal best 8 point. he was 5 1/2 years old. Anyone want to guess how much he measured? 72 inches. He even made the local paper. Sometimes I seriously get a smile from the guys that let the 120 inch bucks walk up north. So anyway I will try my best for ya...we will see.

Snook...
I will never let a buck walk while hunting locally!!! any buck is a good buck around here... even a 70"er!!!

Ok... who wants captain... they will have the check in soon...

going to check the camera in NY tonight... more does probably..

bear season starts here in 1 week. i don't know if i'll shoot one this year or not... have to wait and see... bringing some first timers out this year to let some bruins have it!

Whew, I thought everyone abandoned me.
Western, I nominate you or Snook to be capitan.
Camo Cazi is cool with me

Snook, how did you do on those hogs?

Thank God for the antlerless deer tag so I can at least fill the freezer in that spot.

Hey guys, sorry its been a while since i've checked in. Been golifin too much...scratch that, been golfin I have been out doing some scouting too though, saw a pretty nice one the other night that would probably be in the 130's. Haven't checked the cameras in about 4 weeks now. Will probably go switch memory cards some evening this week.

Temps have been unusually cool all August here, only a few days in the 90's and we've been getting down to the 40's at night. It's been feeling a lot like fall all month. Seems like we should already be sitting in the stand. only 3.5 more weeks!

Camo Cazi's sounds good to me, and either Western or Snook for captain, whoever wants it.

Awesome snook, I've never been hog hunting.
A buddy of mine is trying to get me to go in Feb, we shall see.
