RE: Team 1, Right Here!!
Well, I am happy to report our team scored one jake this past Saturday (5/17). I finally made it back to S.Dakota forthe last two days of the season. I sort of felt I was in the bottom of the ninth-at bat with two outs. I was going to take any gobbler veering into bow range. I saw some awesome toms! Although the gobblers were still with hens, they were extremely quiet. They put on a good show, but I could not find one willing to take an arrow. I settled on a jake (about $500/ pound). We'll get the big ones next year!
I'm off to Texas this coming weekend for hogs and exotics. I'm using the Texas trip as a warm up for Africa on June 7th.
