Default 3D guys.....Binos question

What do you do with your binos when you're shooting 3D? I have been wearing my "harness" that holds them tight to your chest.....but I ordered a short little, braidedloop that will attach them to my accessory belt.

If you do it this way......what type of accessory "clip" do you utilize?

Thanks!

I dunno buddy, I use the harness as well. There are several commercially available clips to use, and unless I'm mistaken (which is ENTIRELY possible) Bohning has one listed on their website....

With the amount of $$$ that good bino's cost, I'd be scared to not have them attached to me. For fear of them "walking off" or misplacing them, and for fear of dropping them and damaging them. The courses around here can be pretty rough and if they weren't attached they would surely end up in a mud puddle lens down. I have the crooked horn outfitter harness that most have that goes over both shoulders and use that for hunting, but for 3D I prefer to use just the regular shoulder strap, this seems to be most common around here.

Jeff, I shoulder strap mine with a 2" web belt. It was actually a ski boot strap that I put on my binos, they hang over my shoulder like in the picture but slightly lower than his and the wide belt makes them very comfortable. I continue to wear them that way when hunting as my range finder is on my Crooked Horn harness.

Yeah Rob.....but your range finder is BIGGER than my binos!

I'd like to know how to get mine on a wider strap....and I'd go that route.

I use the wider strap that came with my Nikons. I think you have the same ones I do?
