Default Question about scoring

I looked at the deer so far that have been shot and measured..

I have a question..
One fellow ,,,measured an inside spread and a tip to tip

WHILE the other fellows who measured did not measire a tip to tip only an insiide measurement at the widest span.

Did I overlook something ??

OK Thanks man..MichaelHunsucker had measured it but I didn;t know if he counted it or not..his tip to tip was a little over 8 inches..it threw me off because the other hunters did not mention the tip to tip

When following the P&Y scoring sheet you are suppose to measure the tip to tip as well as the greatest spread which but you do not count it in the gross score. It's for the records only. You only count main beams, tine lengths and 4 circumference measurements along with the inside spread.
