Default Don't forget the little men.....

Okay guys, this is just a friendly reminder to not forget the "little men" in this contest. These are the sleepers that seem to take it year after year. The "stacked" teams always seem to come up short... many probablly weren't around or don't remember the 2004 contest, but it was the picture perfect example.

Team 4- ILNYPAKY-EH
Ill Buck
Daystalker
Extreme1
Rack-Attack
Kcison
Ilbowman
DoubleLung55
Hammerman
Hazcon7
Buck Magnet

Our team was favored from the get go. Hammerman, Hazcon7, IL-Bow-Man, Kcison, Rack-Attack, Extreme1, and Daystalker were known as some of the better "big buck killers" on the forum at the time, Ill Buck was from Illinois and we all have heard about that place. DoubleLung55 and I were the "outsiders" but we were both seeing some great bucks. This team was "stacked" beyond belief........

In the end, we put up a total of 232-5/8" from 2 bucks... the winning team had 7 bucks for a total of 637-2/8"

In the end they put up almost 3X as many inches of antler as we did.... it goes to show that names mean nothing, its all about luck.

On a side note, the biggest buck of the contest was shot by Wolfen68 and scored in at 197-7/8"

Team 4- ILNYPAKY-EH

Now there my friends isa name for the record books...good memories. Great team. We just didn't get it done, but I remember the smack that was laid out and a great year. I think we had more post on our team from Buckeye then our members.

That was Wolfen's year for sure.

It's always the team of rag-tag no names that pull it out. Look at dark horses. In a few more months they will be forgotten andback to thier unknown selves. And some new out of hte blue team will be famous......for a year.
