Your a lucky man Kelly. Did a NON-HUNTING vacation with the family to CO late last summer. Spent the whole time looking out of the window of the rental car watching bull elk paradingaround for the ladies. I am sure they won't be quite as relaxed come the opening.
Do you use your whitetail set-up for elk or crank up the poundage? My opening day is not until the middle of Oct. Just don't seem right.
The arrows are flying likelike they are on a string and the soda cans are taking a beating out to 30 yards with judo points and grass grabbers so I'm feeling OK.

A funny side note!! the squirrels are messing with my garden and I really don't have much interest in popping them so I have been trapping them in a Havaheart and spray painting them. I have blaze orange, white, and yellow ones running around. I wonder what the neighbors think.

Checked a new area out tonight. It looked good with some great trails, but not exactly what I was hoping to see.

It's quiet in here boys.. I still have better than a month before I can hunt here in MA. Don't know why they start it so late. It's not like it would change harvest results.I hope someone is hunting something. Wonder how Kel did...

Hey guys, what's been going on? I haven't been on here in awhile, been busy with work and school. So have you guys been seeing any? I haven't had a chance to do any hardcore scouting, but went for a little walk on our lease the other day. Not seeing a ton of sign but its still pretty early. Fall turkey season opens up October 1st so i will prob be in the woods a little more. Don't get too excited about fall turkey hunting but I use it as a chance to do some more serious whitetail scouting and gives me a chance to itch my trigger finger a little, haha. So anyways, i was just wondering what was new and exciting with you guy, hope all is well.
