I was out this weekend checking my camera and what not and it finally looks like they are starting to hit my food plot. I got a bunch of pictures and i didnt even have any corn out this time.

I tried to get some shooting in however the neighbors kept coming out and since im shooting toward thier back yard I dont shoot when anyone is out JIC (just in case).

Let me ask you this. I got a new string on my bow last year. It was shooing perfect. Well this year I had to make a slight adjustment to my site. At 20 yards it is perfect. If I go back to 30 then its shooting either left or right. I keep messing with the site and i can not get it to be on. Do you think this is b/c the string is stretched out now and broken in. My guess is yes and that i need to tune the bow again.

Yeah i figured. My cousin is good with bows so i am going to have him help me out.

I am shooting a Whisker Biscut and a 1 pin site.

If it doesnt work out with him im just going to go to my bow shop and let them help me out. its just frustrating b/c I had gone though it all last year.

Here are a few pics of my prospects.

Here is a big 6pt. There is a little brow that has formed but not sure its long enough. Here is also a 10 pt. Looks like a 9pt but he has a kicker off his right brow.

Here is a big 10pt that only made 1 appearance so far. He showed up with this 8 point drop tine. Only saw them once!

Here is a 9point drop tine.

I was talking to another hunter from this way yesterday and he said he had drove by the farm I hunt one night and saw some deer in a bean field. He took a glance over and saw a solide main frame 10 standing in the middle of the field but the exciting part is the 8-10 inch drop tine coming off his main beam. He said the typical frame was about a 150-160 but the drop is enough to make me jump out of my stand.

I already called the guy that has the first calls on that area of the farm and he gave me the go ahead to go in and scout it out and hang a set. It's a VERY thick spot but has enough big trees and little open spots that you can successfully ambush a big buck.

This is the same spot that my cousin took a 205 18 point out of about 10 years ago. I'm going to try and make it out there this weekend to look around and put a camera up. Nothing gaurentees that the ol boy is hanging out in there all the time but it sure gives me confidence to check it out.

Also, how do I get that avatar?
