Haha, my priorities were with making up some time for the wife for all the time she let me spend hunting. I've still got 2 MD buck tags so she will be giving up some more time. I figured I'd pay her back a little this weekend.

Well shotgun season has finally closed in my area and i did get lucky enough to score on a 140 gross 10 point. Hopefully I can get back out before the opener of ML season but we'll see how things go, otherwise i wont get back out with the bow until the middle of december.
John, glad you are home safe and had a good time hunting abroad. Next year when/if you come to MD we are going to have to hook up, Ive got several properties that I can hunt down on the shore near Rock Hall and Caimbridge. I could have sworn someone told me you did get a buck?? Maybe it was somone else? Anyway, I hope everyone is well and getting ready to chow down on some turkey, stuffing and mashed taters and gravey!!
Oh, and I didnt post it on our team thread, but I did getmy secondarchery buck2 weeks ago.Got some video of him but I was filming myself so I just missed the actual shot. I thought the buck was going to step to the left of that last tree so I left the camera pointed where he was walking, one more step and it would have been perfect, BUT, the lil booger hung up for a sec and made a right turn at that tree and I decided not to let down, move the camera and try and draw back on him. It all worked out, right at the shot the buck ran back into camera view. This is unedited of course.

I've been out with the ML the past few weeks but havn't seen much for action, all the deer seem to have disapeared. The ML season closes this Sunday then its back to the old stick and string til the end of the year.
