Western MA Hunter checking in...can't wait for season to start.

I'm 30 years old, married with 2 little girls (4 & 2).

I am an avid bow hunter and gun hunter. I just shot a bear earlier this week during the MA bear opening evening. I will be going to New Brunswick in 2.5 weeks on moose hunt. Bringing my 7mm mag for that.
Bow season starts mid October here and gun the Monday after Thanksgiving.

I am on team 42 in the bow contest. My gun season begins November 15. I'm on Vacation from the 15th till 18th so hopefully I'll get one down then.

Any ideas on team name or who we want as a captain? Any of you get in last years gun contest? If so what did you shoot?

I hope the rest check in soon. Will be hunting interlake of Manitoba. Water levels are up so the deer have been sticking to the ridges. Should be a good season. Was pattenning a monster last year but could never get a shot. He's still in there and I hope some new stand placements will give me a shot this year. Saw him twice last year and I figure he is easy a 150 class. I hope I will be able to contribute this year. All my best.

My name is Mac. Retired,married with 4 kids, 4 grandkids. I have been hunting over 45 years. In fact we are heading out to Colorado on the 16 th for an archery elk hunt.
