Week 3 Update........

Here it is guys.

Keep in mind, Huntinged, GoosehunterJr., and myself have all used our 1x allotted missed week. Our average for X count and score from the first 2 weeks were used for the missed weeks and are shown above.

Good shooting guys, and keep up the progress!!

After this weekend I will be done at Harrisburgs 3D event and be able to focus on spots more than 2x a week for the first time since September. I will be attending 3x vegas league nights a week + this league, as well as at least one practice night as well. All of my tuning issues are done now and I will finally have the time to work on my game that I haven't had for months, so you guys better pick it up a notch or two! [8D]

Man alive, we have an all out WAR going on for the top spot....You 2 dudes are shooting extrememly well!!

Turn it up a notch???? Holy moly man, I'm shootin my butt off now, better than I've ever shot.....I need a scope....[8D]

Dang, guys.....I finished second at my 3D shoot, Friday.....and shot the best 5-spot I've ever shot on Thursday of last week (by 9!).

All that....and I moved down. I'm in the wrong league.

yea guys I wanted to shoot this week, but i had two final papers, a 1 hr presentation, and a final... not to mention work.. this going to grad school and working thing is time consuming sometimes [8D] They one day I coulda shot it was snowing/raining so i jsut decided to skip this week...I should be shooting this week...

Yeah without adjusting handicaps there is no reason for shooters less than 900 to countinue. That leaves only 14 "in the hunt" !

If your in this thing to win it and that's all that matters, then yes you are correct and you should probably quit now. If you are in this thing to have fun, get to know the others in this contest a bit better, and learn to be a betterarcher then you might get something out of finishing up the league and shooting the next several weeks. I personally hope you stick around, but it is really up to you.

Wewill have adjusting handicaps for both X count and score for the next league, it is just that as ofwhen this league startedI didn't want to donate the $90 for the software to keep track without knowing how many people would actually follow through and be interested. I also didn't have the several hours a week to manually track and calculate an adjustable handicap at the beginning of the contest, and I am certainly not going to change rules half way through.

Next time handicaps will be calculated based upon best 2 of the previous 3 scores shot. This will prevent anyone from sandbagging, and will level the playing field more. If I would have known that we were going to have around 30 participants I would have spent the $$$ this time but hopefully people can still have fun.

If you have other suggestions for future leagues, please feel free to provide constructive criticism that we can take a look at and possibly implement in the future.

I don't know about the rest of you , but I'min it for the duration even though it would nice to whip everybody's butt .
It don't matter to me if I win or not , I know I'll improve as I continue for the next four weeks so ya' all better look out cause I'm coming at ya.

Dang, I just didn't want to end up dead last, now I'm in a race for last place! Oh well, who'd have thunk that my first ever 5 spot scratch score would have been one of my best... Kinda reverse sandbagged myself there [:@]

No critiscm meant..I applaud you for your efforts. I was just stating a fact!

Next time you either need Classes or an adjusted handicap to keep everyone interested.

Otherwise more people may "lay down" in qualifying!
