I'm from southern IL. My name is Dave, I'll be hunting my 30 acres and the neighboring 40 acres behind my house. I just gained access to 80 acres of timber, CRP, and a couple of big ponds. I haven't had a chance to scout the new place out yet, I'm waiting for the thermometer to drop below the triple digits lol.

I've got one trailcam out right now and just bought a second one this evening, hope to get some pics soon to post. Post some pics if you guys have any.

We won't have any problem getting some deer shot for our team. Even though they all aren't pictured, there were 55 deer in this field. I have full permisson to hunt this and surrounding land. I shot two does here last year and missed a nice 140 class 10 point the same day I shot one of my does. I also have another property to hunt about half an hour north of me and another piece of land in Price County up north. In fact the guy that invented the Cuddeback just bought a bunch of land about half a mile from me. He's from Park Falls which is just a couple miles east of my land.
