THanks for the prayers guys.

Just found out this morning that my dad may be able to take me with him the very last 3 days of the season. Too short a trip to try with a bow, just assume take the .308 and put meat in the freezer. It's a long shot, but like I said, I'm holding out all hope.

Sorry I haven't checked-in in a while. Bow season for me has been over for about a month. I killed a decent 8 pointer (for around here)with a rifle but never got a shot at an acceptable buck with a bow.

I sure am sorry to hear about your situation Dave. Thoughts and prayers to you and yours for the new year.

Merry Chrsitmas All

Miracles do happen!

I get to go hunting next week on the family place in Central Texas. 1st and foremost I'll be hunting meat, so the rifle will be out first, but if I get my meat early in the week, the bow will come out. My cousin told me of a big 12 that hangs close to one of my favorite spots. Havn't been sleeping lately. Too excited!!!

Hey Guys, My season ended 1/13/07! No deer for me for but I had a great time being out there. I saw some small ones that might be big ones next year. If you are still hunting good luck. It is small game and school work for me now!

Hey guys checking in. Finally scored on a buck, but it was with a rifle.I'll tryto post it later when I have more time.Maybe better luck with the bow next year. It was a good season, though.

Still amazes me that even after hunting for years, you can learn something new each time! What a blessing to be out there. Hope the rest of you men had a good season.
