Well, I setmy blind this evening. I've got an oak ridge that is fairly short, only about 80 yards long. That ridge forms a point that drops down into a thicket/bedding area. On either side of the point are pretty steep drop offs, so the deer pretty much have no choice but to use the point.
It's sweet, ya'll, really. I've got a structure trail where it crosses a fence, and I'm only 15 yards off the trail. It is pretty evident he's using it as a staging area, I could see how he has been milling around on that point. Then he crosses the fence on that trail. I truely believe I can kill a buck there opening weekend. My blind is brushed in to perfection, you can hardly see it. I am very, very excited!!!
