Thanks guys! Forgot to mention that I used a Hornady 165gr Interbond this year. It's the first time I used a bonded bullet and I was quite impressed. It went through a lot of bone and ended up a nice mushroom with lots of retained weight. Basically the opposite of my experience with the Hornady SST last year; it hit bone and exploded. Both did a fine job bringing down the animal just in different ways.

My wife started a second shift job just when deer season opened.
So I had to stay home with the kids.
So I didn't get to hunt.
Talk about a bummer season.
Maybe next year.

Hey guys, am I still on this team or what????

I checked in early and suggested the "Lucky Team 13" name, and then went on an 11 day archery moose hunt. Now it seems I may have been given the boot.

By the way what's with the dates on this thread. They seem to range between september and november of 2005 (that's twenty OH five).
