No probs dampland!

UM, best of luck and congrats on filling the freezer!

I still haven't filled my other either tag, saturday morning they were moving but passed the bucks I encountered and ended up harvesting a doe with my anterless tag for the freezer. After that she went sour saw very little movement and rattled in 1 dink and a small doe. Closes saturday so a glimmer of hope remains. My first buck is posted &on the board for team 7...some good news.

Best of luck all.

No news is good news or what? Nobody has posted any bucks for the team, you guys all still hunting or just hanging on...LOL.

Season come and gone here. Mine ended on a bitter note last week asI came across a wounded 5x5 that somebody had shot and never recovered (mind you it was on my posted land...[:@]). He was still very much alive but in tough. I put him downbut couldn't stomach hunting on, so I notched my remaining tag and called her a year. I had seen this buck a ton this fall. Amature downsliding buck that still had the zeal. I witnessed him scrap a young up and comer, chase a number of ladies, chase off many a dink that harassed his gf's and grunt like a mad man (I swear if I never witnessed it I would have thought it was a hunter with his new grunt tube he was extremely vocal). I guess it isgood to take him out but he deserved better andit should have never came to that desicion. Iwouldn/t have shot him had he been able, as hewas kind of like a buddy. I saw him almosteach time I hunted one ofmy blinds on his loop. Very disappointing/distrubing/sad moment and end to an otherwise good season. I did what I felt was right and cursed the SLOB who mamed him in the first place. Put the tape on him this evening and he grossed 148 6/8...so my other one will stand for the contest.

Just thought I'd check in. Best of luck guys and lets see some posted to bring up our total!!!

PS, Moose don't fret it bud, that's hunting and life. Better luck next year!

Well my firearms season has came to an end after last weekend. I drove down to the farm only to have to return quickly because two of my three boys got pretty sick and then.....my wife got sick. One the drive home, another phone call for emergency service for frozen pipes.

Something was telling me to just let the second shotgun season go but I wanted to do it and spend time with my friend down there.

I hunted one day and saw nothing but does.

So my contribution to the team has been a very unexpected ZERO.

I hold hope we can pull out a decent finish by scores from many of you other members who have longer rifle seasons.

Good luck guys.

I'm still hunting until Jan 3rd here fellas. I have the one already but hoping to get a crack at one I was watching all bow season. He's been making scrapes and rubs again, but haven't had a shot yet. I'm guessing him to be in the upper 150's to low 160's range....I did try to single out the deer a little better in one of the pics from my first one though.
