just started finding scrapes so Im hoping in 3 weeks I will start seeing the big boys that I know are out there!!!

Deer902, I dont have a pic with the bow[:@]I do have a picture of the tag but i dont think it will matter if i dont have the bow in the pic. Sorry aobut that I didnt even think of it at the time.

I meant take a new pic with rack bow and tag. You already have the deer and tag picture right? It's worth a try.
Congrats again.
I'm going to a good spot tomorrow morning if the rain holds off. I have a perfect wind. The bucks are starting to chase now and I'm hoping for some action.

Anybody having any luck? I haven't had alot of time to hunt this year. SUCKS! Too much rain and prior commitments(kids). I hope to get close to one in the next 2 weeks. Good luck to all and let us know what you've been doing.

I haven't seen a thing. I have spent over 40 hours in the woods since the 15th of October, when our season opened, and haven't seen a deer at all. I am somewhat puzzled since my trail cam showed deer activity everday the first week of October. Of course I did notice that the deer were becoming more nocturnal, not many daytime shots at all.

Still have high hopes to bag something...really want that 8 pointer that I have on camera.

Getting ready for our 2 week gun only Buck Season! SO far bow season has been a zero for me. My son did get a button buck 2 weeks ago and I got a shot at a main beam spike, but missed, my luck!..LOL

The rut to seems to be on the go now, should be right in the peak come Monday, November 21.

Our regular archery season is over. Gun comes in after Thanksgiving. If I don't tag a buck in gun then I will definately have my bow out after Christmas for the late season hunt. They're are plenty of deer around I just haven't had the opportunity to tag one yet.
