I hope there are more of my teammates from the great state of ILL. I shot a nice 10pt buck there in OCT 2000. BIG BUCKS out there

Hatchet and all-

I have three separate and private areas to hunt this year. One of them is a very small area but has two or three 100-130in bucks that I have seen. They might be bigger but I'd rather error on the side of conservatism.On the other propertiesI am seeing plenty of tracks but no rubs just yet, I'm sure there are bucks because the owner/s have seen them. Still trying to figure out where to put my stands on one property. The others I already have my spots picked out

Only time will tell.The season here in Illinois isOct-Jan so I feel pretty good about my chances.

We need everyone to sound off and then we need to pick a name.

hey eveybody, just checking in. my season starts oct. 1 and ia m from richlands virginia. i can feel it....team 6 is gonna win....

I hope Team 6 does alot better than than team BUD #8 team. I had to get that dig in being a old Geoff Bodine fan. Geoff and Dale SR { God rest his soul} had some great races in the 80's and 90's. I sure miss Dale Sr , Nascar is not the same without him. Geoff made it offical last week that he is done racing. But he did get a gig with ESPN on their race show.
