Congratulations BigJ, good job. Unique trophy. Was his pedicle newly busted or did he grow that way? Was the anlter fixed or loose? I liked the stories leading up to the harvest and the questions for your fellow team mates about taking him....congrats again.

Thanks Rob,

No man, he just grew that way and the antler was as solid as a rock. It made a great handle for me to drag him out.

I really wanted to get a better score for the team because there is alot of deer in this area I hunt. These two make number 5&6 for the year. I still have a buck tag left and two doe tags so my season isn't over yet. I keep seeing some great deer but none in shooting range, and this guy kept walking under me like clock work!

I still have a chance that one of the bigger bucks will make a mistake and give me a shot because I am still seeing does getting chased. But you know as well as I....they don't get that big by being dumb!

Sorry guys.........MN season is over....I got out 5 times in the last week and a half and never saw a buck......just a few does. I was hoping to North Dakota this pastweek but had to cancel. My buddy who went saw 275 + deer in 5 days. He shot 3 does and got busted 3 times as he drew on 130 to 175 " bucks in the first 3 days. Day 4 it happened.....152" 10 point! A real beauty. All he kept saying was...."Man ...you should of been here"................wish I had.

Good Luck
