RE: ML scopes VS. rifle scopes?
According to Bushnell all of their rifle scopes will work fine on m/l. I had the same question and called their tech support and was informed that the "shock" of the m/l was really no greater than that of a centerfire rifle and not to worry about it. I haven't and so far the scopes have held out fine.
Believe it or not though airguns are pretty hard on scopes though.
