RE: T/C ShockWave Sabots 200gr. vs. 250gr.
I use the 200's. I have an optima, 105 grains pyro. This year I shot a 200lb(live weight) buck at 120 yrds. He was 1/4 too a little bit. I put it in the point of the shoulder. The bullet did a complete pass thru. He went about 30 yrds. The exit hole was incredible. I also shot a small doe. It was a down angle shot at 80 yrds. Entrance was the edge of the spine. with the exit at the off shoulder. Again a great big hole upon exit.
My dad shoots the 250. He had about the same performance on the doe he shot.
