RE: T/C ShockWave Sabots 200gr. vs. 250gr.
I have shot both the 200 and 250 grain shockwaves out of my Encore. The 200's are more accurate and I get clover leafs at 100 yardds off of a bench. I put them in front of 130 grains of Pyrodex pellets. The 250 grain Shockwaves gave me 1-1/2" groups at 100 with 100 grains of pellets which is still very acceptable. I just feel that the 200 grain SW give me a liittle more distance.
As far as performance, I can't really say. I haven't used the 250 grain Shockwaves hunting and the only deer I shot with the 200 grain was within 30 yards so it basically went straight through. She didn't go very far.
You will just have to try different loads to find what your ML likes.
