RE: What is the highest temperature for hanging deer?
In my experience yes that is a fine temp. to hang deer. I am in the supermarket business and our coolers can never go any higher that 45 degrees other will say no higher that 50 degrees, which would be fine as well. This helps with bacteria and stops the meat from decomposing.
