I have always noted fewer deer sightings, especiallyin the morningsduring a full moon. I have said for a few years now that during a full moon I was going to sleep in one day and go in the woods around 9 or 10just to see what happens.....can't bring myself to do it. If I try to sleep in during deer season I wake up feeling guilty and I make a mad dash for my stand!
I also observe deer out at night more on full moon nights....I'm sure some of this is due to the fact that I can see better as well.
