Do you really think they dont have some level of smarts? I understand that the deer are cerious, but on the food issue I don't think they come to the camp for food.
These deer really seem to be using thier heads. Halcon made a good point, but the camp is full of activity and it would seem that this would disrupt the deer in regards to that matter. But no it isn't hunted being that the procimity is so close, and that my point are particular deer using this to there advantage, the more wise and older 12pt 205lb monster bucks.
Don't get me wrong it not like we have deer hanging all around the camp sight sitting around the fire with us, but on occation that really big one will be seen with in less than a 1/4 mile of the came and spooked up some times bedding VERY close to the camp.
