How long does smoked sausage last?
Just smoked up 7# of venison summer sausage. I've never had a need tofreeze it or even keep it in the frig for long periods as my family eats it up in a matter of days. This year I wish to keep a stick for an upcoming trip in the latter part of December -a bit more than a month away.How long will it last in the frig? Will it be as good frozen? I make sausage from those High Mountain summer sausage kits with my own special ingredients added to it. Thanks.
