Normally, I wouldn't have even concidered shooting a bearded hen in the spring (although perfectly legal here in NY), but it was the final morning of season, I still had a tag to fill and there's WAY too many hens around here as it is. They sure threw a monkeywrench into my season. So, I decided to do some hen management and get a little revenge at the same time cause this little bearded lady screwed me up on a monster longbeard during opening weekend...

Weight = 9.00

Beard = 7.25 (longest strand when fully extended)

Score...9 + 7.25 + 7.25= a whopping 23.5 points added to the team total. Wahoo!!!

We gave it a good run team. Although we did not win, we finished in a respectable position. It was a great time and I look forward to next year.
