Success in Illinois

Going into this hunting season my hopes were at an all-time high. I rededicated myself to a successful hunting season and was bound and determined to make the most of it. I adopted a new scent control regimen and began using Scent-Lok activated carbon clothing religiously. I had my Bowtech Allegiance tuned up and shooting beautifully. My stands were scouted and hung, cameras were out, and this was going to be my season.

Your best chance for shooting one actually occurs before the rut peaks and again after.

Lone Wolf Scores

Saturday morning, October 14th, long time HuntingNet.com friend Andrae D'Acquisto came up big and scored his 6th Boone & Crockett whitetail by bow and arrow. This giant grosses 191" and will net well into the 170's. Andrae called this buck the "Tuning Fork" buck due to its matching, split G-4's that look like tuning forks. This is the first buck harvested with Andrae's latest product, the all-new Lone Wolf Bow.
