Stan Potts Scores on an Ohio Giant! |

During an October hunt for North American Whitetail TV, Stan Potts and his son Tim got a look at a buck they thought would gross over 200". Stan and Tim didn’t connect on that hunt, but late in December they got a call from their good friend Joel Snow who had spotted the buck again. A few days later, Stan and Tim were perched in a tree during the late Muzzleloader season when the giant stepped out.

It all started 2 years ago with a general desire to hunt for a Mountain Goat with a bow. I started my research on the internet looking for outfitters who specialize in archery Mountain Goats hunting. I quickly found that this specialty type of outfitter were few and far between.
After finding the right outfitter, it was up to me to get prepared for this hunt, both mentally and physically. Despite being in the best shape of my life, this was one of the most challenging hunts I had ever been on, but in the end I got my goat and went home a very happy hunter.
