With growing development pressure and high numbers of people leasing and buying land for hunting, it is becoming much harder to find quality hunting in many parts of the country. In response, some hunters are working hard to secure good relations with landowners, some are dropping out, and some are trespassing. It will probably get worse.
Here is how you should deal with trespassing. Most trespassing comes from one of two places: either a public roadway or a suspicious neighbor. You likely know right now which of your neighbors let hunters in and you can easily determine by keeping your eyes and ears open when hunting that part of the property whether they are crossing the fence.
